The ultimate high-performance board for small to mid-range size surf. Ideal for waves that are more gutless and flatter, but also works amazingly in punchier surf. It’s a great board for generating quick speed and maneuvering in tight wave transitions.
The SPX is your premier board for real-world conditions. Boasting a shorter, more curvier outline, the board can fit into tighter pockets easier allowing critical surfing closer to the critical parts of the wave with easier exits. Mix that with the pinched rails in the top ¾ of the board and boxier rails in the tail and you have an exciting combination of beautiful rail turns with radical tail releases.
This is Sean Poynter’s go-to board for all conditions under 8ft.

I've had my 8,7 SPX for 6 months now ,and by far it is the most loosest board I have ever owned ,I basically had to lift my game to keep up with it ,It has great speed and comes off the bottom hand turn with speed and it can snap off the top so nicely ,it can handle big drops late drops you name it .I probably would of liked the next size up as they surf a lot smaller than they really are mine feels more like a 8,5 ,I like mine as a quad using Kelly Slater fins ,this board is Madd .and my surfing has become Mad too.I really recommend this board if you like high performance surfing .

I’ve been SUP surfing since 2010 when boards were huge heavy underperforming logs. I’ve surfed most all of the “name” brands over the years as my skill set an ability got better. I’m 5’9 75kgs and have found over the last few years my progression was held back by the boards I was riding. After seeing how Sean Poynter performed on the SP24 I wanted to give it a shot. While I’m no professional, I can say I’ve progressed more on the SP24 than any previous board I’ve been on. The board surfs effortlessly top to bottom and always seems to know where and how I want to go. It’s super loose which allows for aggressive snaps off the top and plenty of reverse tail blows. Cuts back like an F1 car and transitions the flats with a few good pumps. Best board ever!!! If you’ve ready to progress your surfing it’s time to get yourself an SP24!!

I’ve never had a board, that feels like it wants to turn.The board turns so easily. It’s a big board for me at 8’8. But it doesn’t feel like it. Light weight, and very responsive. Fast !! Get one ! Or buy some ****** off the rack board.Then have to sell it at a big loss when you find out it turns like a super tanker. Again, great board !!

So far so good, one day on it in New England storm swell. Board looks great and is fun to ride! A little surprised I had to instal the deck pad myself, but once I sorted out the puzzle it was fine. Though the instal email came a day late! lol. Looking forward to the next swell.
