Bitchin

East coast Kirby here. Same age, same size, same style, similar old guy tales as Mr Weeks. but on the west coast. Not many summer waves here on the central coast but the Kanga was fun in tiny surf and cooked up to shoulder high. With the one well overhead NW swell (very strange in early fall) I could not find the top end of the board . It flew . Great board but I still have memories of Ian jumping on every wave at Kammieland after he had just paddled past me In the 70’s but his board design has eased the pain .

9’6” Kanga Rocks

Best surf sup I’ve had! I’m a size Texas Medium, 6’6” 250, and this board Squirts out of bottom turns, goes rail to rail like a good short board and catches waves easy.

By far the best board I have ridden

Ok so I have had a few other boards. Please don’t quote me on numbers here, as some of these were from 2015/16/17... All were, respectfully good boards to ride. Started with: - JP pro 9’2 x 30 volume 135 - JP pro 8’6x 29 volume 113 - JP pro 8’8 x32 volume 140 - JP pro 8’2 x31.5 volume 123 - F One Madeiro 8’8x 32 volume 136 - Starboard pro 8’6 x 29 volume 113 - (Tested an Infinity 9’0 volume 115 ) - Starboard Hyper nut 8’6 x 31. 5 volume (a lot) - F One Papenoo 7’11 x 30.5 volume 123 - JP 8’10 x 30 volume 123 - (Tested an Infinity 8’2 x 30 volume 125 ) - Starboard 8’8 x 32 volume 123 (Airborne) - Genration 8’6 x 30 volume 120 ( Kanga ) model.By far the best model I have ridden. Its fast down the line. I make sections. It snaps both off the bottom and the top of the waves. Its stable enough so I am not working my ass off just trying to stay on the board.(I mostly ride boards as a quads with small back fins). Mind you, with that said: I am 6ft tall, weight 225lbs and I am (unbelievably) because I often act 12... am turning 60yrs old in November. So most of you guys will easily be better than me. Signed:Very happy with my Genration SUP ! Dave
